We advise pre-booking online for July and August. All children up to and including 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Q. Is Puzzlewood accessible for children’s pushchairs, mobility aids and wheelchairs?
Unfortunately, no. Puzzlewood is a designated ancient woodland with narrow pathways and over 200 uneven and slippery steps. Safe access for pushchairs, mobility aids and wheelchairs is not possible.
Q. Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed on site.

Q. What footwear should I wear?
Puzzlewood has uneven terrain and over 200 uneven steps that can be slippery, especially in wet weather. We strongly advise wearing suitable sturdy footwear with sufficient grip. We do not recommend that children are carried on shoulders – tree branches can pose an obvious health and safety risk.

Yes and there are outside picnic benches. They are NOT permitted in the woods. Please note that we do ask that you to take your own rubbish home. We also have a café on site serving a small selection of food and drinks.
