For families who are members of The Somerset Parent Carer Forum, full of fun and learning in our countryside. Come and join us for our fun family sleepover from 1pm to 12.45pm on the last day.
Taking place at our beautiful farm, you will have the chance to explore the grounds, participate in activities such as arts and crafts workshops, outdoor activities, learning new skills and finding out about our environment from our knowledgeable staff.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund we are excited to be able to provide a progression of our very popular families on the farm with Just Act Natural: be in nature, be yourself . A special event specifically designed to give families living in the South West of England with a child/young person (up to 25) with learning difficulties or a disability an opportunity to spend quality time together and meet others in similar situations.
Families will enjoy fun farm and nature-based activities whilst socialising and creating friendships with other families.

Activity Information
You will have the opportunity to take part in activities around the farm which could include animal care, gardening, cookery, being creative and exploring nature. Learning about the things around us and our environment in a fun and supportive way.
We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.

Catering and accommodation
Accommodation can be bring your own tent and camp or book one of our rooms. Our bedrooms are converted farm buildings with 1 room designated per family with shared bathroom facilities.
All meals will be provided – just let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements, we will be only too happy to accommodate.
We hope that families make the most of their stay and take the opportunity to relax and have fun in great company.
About Us
Magdalen is a working organic farm set in the glorious countryside of Dorset & Somerset. At the heart of our farm is an education centre, from which we offer activities with accommodation and delicious meals. Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.
All Terrain Wheelchair Hire
On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able guests to get around the farm. Please add a wheelchair ticket to your booking if you require one.
We also have a dedicated "Changing place" for those that may need it (please bring your own hoist if required).
