Ramsey Island Special - 1.5 hour
Join us on a trip around the RSPB reserve of Ramsey Island. This fantastic marine wildlife tour offers something for everyone. Our friendly expert guides will impart detailed, intriguing information about all of the wildlife that you will encounter, as well as telling tales of shipwrecks, legends and history.
Important Information
For advanced bookings we recommend you contact us the day before. If you have booked on the day online please check in with us first thing and no later than 1 hour before the trip to confirm that your trip is going ahead as planned. If you are travelling from a distance specifically for your trip, please ensure you check the day before or before you leave to check the trip is going ahead and let us know your expected travel time.
Whilst we do our best to ensure trips run according to schedule, times may change due to tide and weather and we do require minimum numbers to sail.
Please be aware there are 64 steps down to the lifeboat station where you will board, and a further 24 steps up to the upper slipway which we use at low tide (photos of the departure point can be seen on our website under 'Directions').
On arrival at departure point
Please make sure you are at the bottom of the steps at St Justinians ready to board the boat 15 minutes before your trip departure time, where you will be met by our boarding master.
What to wear
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING PLENTY OF WARM LAYERS AS IT IS ALWAYS COLDER AT SEA, A WIND/WATERPROOF IS ESSENTIAL, IF YOU ARE NOT SUITABLY DRESSED YOU MAY NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE BOAT.
Parking
There is limited parking at St Justinians in 2 parking bays bays at the end of the road, during high season there is additional field parking which is £4 in cash. Alternatively you can park in St Davids 2 miles away and take the Celtic Coaster bus to St Justinians.
