What to Expect
8.00am Meet Tour Guide at the National Horseracing Museum
Departing to Warren Hill
8.10am Tour of Famed Warren Hill Gallops
A guided tour of the famed Newmarket training grounds. See some of the town's equine residents going about their daily exercise and learn about the history of the gallops, how they came to be and their use today.
9.00am Go Behind the Scenes of one of Newmarket's Racing Yards
See what daily life is like at a racing yard, learn all about what it takes to get a horse ready for the races while seeing some of the routines and facilities on offer.
10.00am Morning Coffee
Head to Heath Court Hotel, found at the bottom of Warren Hill gallops for morning coffee.
10.30am Visit to The National Stud
Enjoy a tour of The National Stud and learn about the formation of stud and the role it plays today. This is your chance to see impressive stallions, such as Stradivarius and Bradsell, who currently resides at the 500-acre stud. Meet mares and foals, including this year's newest arrivals. You'll also be in with a chance of meeting retired National Hunt legend Lord Windermere.
12.00pm Return to the National Horseracing Museum
Please be advised that tours depart promptly at the scheduled start time so we recommend arriving at the meeting point a minimum of 15 minutes in advance.
Looking for a Private Tour?
We can offer the Newmarket Experience as a private tour on selected dates excluding Sundays.
Private tours are based on a minimum of 2 adults and cost an additional £60 per booking for a private tour guide.

We are not able to transfer public tour bookings to private tours so please ensure you select the option which works for you before booking.
