Lanwades is one of the very few stallion studs in England still managed by its owner.
Join us on this once a year tour to see stallions Study of Man and Sea the Moon, before meeting some of the resident mares and foals.
What to Expect
9am
Meet outside the National Horseracing Museum and board the minibus
9.15am
Head to the gallops, passing Sir Mark Prescott's yard where Alpinista was trained
10.15am
Enjoy coffee and biscuits at Heathcourt Hotel
10.45am
Head to Landwades Stud for your exclusive tour
12.30pm
Return to the National Horseracing Museum where you will have a voucher towards your lunch in the Tack Room.
The rest of your visit will be spent exploring the National Horseracing Museum and its connections with Alborada, another famed Landwades' mare.
