About This Event

David, the Moth Recorder for Kent County, will be hosting a morning dedicated to moths at Silverhand Estate. After spending the night catching moths on the estate, he will share his findings from the previous evening, explaining and identifying the species he captured. The event includes a short walk to spot day-flying moths.

The morning will begin with an indoor presentation and refreshments, including coffee, tea, and pastries, will be provided.

Extra Details

The walk is moderate, so please wear suitable footwear. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.The route will take you from Luddesdown Court and up a hill, with breaks along the way. Unfortunately, this route will not be suitable for guests in wheelchairs or planning on bringing children in prams, but assisted walking should be fine.
