Please note that we are currently in the midst of our grape harvest. During this time, the winery will be closed to public access to ensure the safety of both our visitors and harvest team and we will be offering a virtual tour of our winery instead. We apologise for any inconvenience and kindly ask that you take this into consideration before making your booking.

Discover Silverhand Estate from a new perspective as you walk through the vineyard, discover the winemaking process and enjoy a guided tasting of award-winning wines.

One of our knowledgeable guides will lead you on a walk through the estate, giving you a brief history of the area, and share information on the grape varieties grown. You will learn about how our wines are thoughtfully crafted and discover some of the flora and fauna that call these vineyards their home. The walking tour continues to our winery where you can see first-hand where all of our production takes places.

The tour continues into our winery, where you will gain an insight into the journey from grape to bottle before finishing in the Cellar Door with a guided tasting of selected Silverhand wines.

What you will experience

Your tour begins with a guided walk through the vineyard, where your guide will introduce you to the estate and explain how our vineyards are managed throughout the year.

During the experience you will discover:

• The history of Silverhand Estate and the surrounding area
• The grape varieties grown across the vineyard
• Organic vineyard management practices
• Local flora and fauna found throughout the estate
  
• The growth of English wine production
  

The experience then continues inside the winery, where you will explore:

• Wine production processes
• Winery operations and equipment
• The bottling and packaging line
• The journey from vine to glass

The tour concludes in the Cellar Door with a guided tasting of some of our award-winning wines.

Terms and conditions

• Guests must follow guidance provided by the tour guide at all times.
• Children must be aged 12 or over to visit the winery.
• Guests must be aged 18 or over to consume alcohol. Valid photographic identification may be requested.
• By attending, guests consent to photography and videography for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested.
