We are able to provide this Just Act Natural: be in nature, be yourself event thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. A special event specifically designed to give families living in the South West of England with a child/young person (aged up to 25) with a learning or physical disability an opportunity to spend quality time together and meet others in similar situations.
Giving families the opportunity to spend quality time with family in a beautiful rural setting and socialise with other families in similar situations. . Our experienced team will be there to guide you through activities that are tailored to suit all ages and abilities, so everyone can enjoy themselves.

Activity Information
The event runs from 10am to 3pm and you will have the opportunity to take part in activities around the farm which could include animal care, gardening, cookery, being creative and exploring nature.
Learning about the things around us and our environment in a fun and supportive way.
We will tailor this event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group, so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.

Catering
A delicious home cooked lunch will be provided for everyone – just let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements and we will be only too happy to accommodate.

About Us
Magdalen is a working organic farm set in the glorious countryside right on the Dorset & Somerset border.
At the heart of our farm is an education centre from which we offer activities with accommodation and delicious meals. Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.
All Terrain Wheelchair Hire
On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able guests to get around the farm.
We also have a dedicated "Changing place" for those that may need it (please bring your own hoist if required).
