The Family Owl Experience
Our Family Owl Experience is the perfect way for you and your family to spend time together and have an enjoyable day.
This 90 minute experience, is tailored to suit all generations of the family from the age of 8+ and allows everybody to handle, fly and learn about our owls in this private experience session.
Owls are seen to have an aura of mystery surrounding them. Whilst some are best known for their nocturnal habits, others are known for their hunting techniques and sheer size and power.
Throughout this experience, you will have the opportunity to handle and fly 4 different species of owls which may include a Southern White Faced Owl, Boobook Owl, Long Eared Owl and an Indian Rock Owl*.
*Birds which participants will meet on the experience may vary due to operational and welfare factors.
Minimum Age
A minimum age of 8 years old applies to this experience.
Spectators
Each participant can bring along ONE spectator with them.

Groombridge Place
Groombridge Place is now closed to the general public - but we still offer our popular experience days all year round!
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend your experience with us at your booked timeslot, please let us know as soon as possible. If you inform us within 7 days of the experience, a rebooking fee will apply which for which the fee is £20.00 per voucher. A refund will not be offered for cancellations.
Sometimes it is necessary that we may need to cancel your experience as a result of forecasted poor weather or other operational factors. In these circumstances, we will always aim (although not always possible) to give participants 24hr notice in these circumstances.If this is to occur, refunds will not be given, however the opportunity to re-book your experience will be offered. We take no responsibility for any losses as a result of a cancellation.
